1. Equipment Check
- Cameras: We may use our iPhones for filming so we will bring a battery charger to keep around. Also, we have access to a real camera so we may attempt to film with it as well.
- Tripod, if necessary: I will pack one in case we have trouble capturing some steady shots.
- Microphone: We will make sure audio is working.
2. Scene Preparation
- Props: I’ve gathered all the necessary items that we will use, like my UM T-shirt, Starbucks cups, desk accessories and UM pendants for our rooms.
- Set Design: Make sure our rooms/desks reflect our characters' personalities. Add some personal mementos and UM merch.
- Weather Check: Monday 3/3/25 – High of 77 and low of 59, partly cloudy. Perfect.
3. Wardrobe and Makeup
- Wardrobe: Have my outfit selected, washed and ready to go.
- Makeup: I don’t need any. I’m already beautiful and wouldn’t want to take away any spotlight from Alessandra.
4. Scheduling
- Shot List: Bring a schedule of shots/scenes to film. This also includes exact locations and props needed at each.
- Timeline: We want to finish filming this weekend. If we need to, we can finish last minute reshoots by next week. Our goal is to have a solid portion of the film by Sunday. There is still so much to do post-production that we need to give ourselves time.
I know that this makes it seem like we have got all of our bases covered and that it will be relatively straight-forward and easy. I’m sure that won’t be the case. There will be many things we have not anticipated – and I’m totally anticipating that. We will document and workaround whichever obstacles come our way. That’s all for today, I’ve got to go work on my lines.
